Marie-Eve FAUST est titulaire d’un Doctorat Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) et d’une maitrise (M.Sc.A) en Génie Industriel de l’École Polytechnique de Montréal, Université de Montréal, après un parcours en Gestion et Design de la Mode et un autre en Sciences Comptables (B.B.A.) à l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).

Elle est aujourd’hui Directrice administrative et du programme à l’École supérieure de mode, ESG UQAM, après avoir enseigné à The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Institute of Textiles and Clothing (ITC), ainsi qu’aux USA, à Philadelphia University, School of Business Administration. Ses sujets de recherche portent notamment sur le développement durable dans le milieu de la mode, avec la mise sur pied du Fibershed Québec, le 3D Body Scanner, et l’anthropométrie. Marie-Eve FAUST a également été responsable de l’implantation et la mise en place d’un 3D body scanner lab. à Hong Kong. Ses recherches sur ces sujets ont fait l’objet d’une communication importante notamment dans le New York Times. Nommée « Reviewer of the year » du Journal of Fashion Marketing Management, elle est aussi membre du Conseil d’Administration de la Grappe Métropolitaine de la Mode.

Biography

Marie-Eve FAUST holds a Doctorate in Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master’s degree (M.Sc.A) in Industrial Engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal, Université de Montréal, after studying Fashion Management and Design and Accounting (B.B.A.) at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). 

She is currently the Administrative and Program Director at the École supérieure de mode, ESG UQAM, after teaching at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Institute of Textiles and Clothing (ITC), as well as in the USA at Philadelphia University, School of Business Administration. Her research topics include sustainable development in the fashion industry, with the establishment of Fibershed Québec, the 3D Body Scanner, and anthropometry. Marie-Eve FAUST was also responsible for the implementation and establishment of a 3D body scanner lab in Hong Kong. Her research on these topics has been widely reported in publications such as the New York Times and the . Named « Reviewer of the Year » by the Journal of Fashion Marketing Management, she is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Grappe Métropolitaine de la Mode
