Enseignant-chercheur à l’Ecole de Management de Normandie, Ludovic Jeanne enseigne la géographie sociale appliquée au développement territorial, la géographie politique et la géopolitique, ainsi que l’intelligence économique territoriale. Après son Doctorat de Géographie physique, humaine, économique et régionale (Université de Caen Normandie, 2002) il a travaillé dans l’industrie puis a rejoint l’ EM Normandie Business School en 2007.

Il est spécialisé dans l’analyse des stratégies territoriales et des jeux territorialisés d’acteurs. Ses travaux visent principalement à contribuer à une géopolitique critique de la globalisation. Il a ainsi mené des travaux sur les dimensions spatiales du comportement stratégique des organisations, notamment en rapport avec les matières premières.

Ses thèmes de recherche plus récents s’intéressent à la question des risques territoriaux et à la perspective géoéthique, l’amenant à consacrer des travaux à une diversité de sujets : parmi ceux-ci les représentations des « menaces terroristes » et des réactions sociales et politiques afférentes (notamment quant aux mutations affectant les espaces publics) ou la crise de la COVID-19 et les stratégies territoriales observables en réponse à cette crise.

Biography

A lecturer and researcher at the Normandy School of Management, Ludovic Jeanne teaches social geography applied to territorial development, political geography and geopolitics, as well as territorial economic intelligence. After completing his PhD in Physical, Human, Economic and Regional Geography (University of Caen Normandy, 2002), he worked in industry before joining EM Normandie Business School in 2007.

He specializes in the analysis of territorial strategies and the territorial games played by actors. His work mainly aims to contribute to a critical geopolitics of globalization. He has conducted research on the spatial dimensions of the strategic behavior of organizations, particularly in relation to raw materials.
