Biographie
Alain Chemama est magistrat depuis 2001 ; durant ces 20 ans, l’instruction a été prioritaire dont 3 ans de siège (expropriation et Commission d’indemnisation des victimes d’infractions). Depuis septembre 2019, il a la charge de la présidence d’audiences correctionnelles au Tribunal Judiciaire de Nice. Il a également été avocat durant 23 ans au Barreau de Nice (essentiellement au pénal).
Dans le domaine de l’enseignement il a assuré des séminaires de droit pénal et procédure pénale pendant plusieurs années à la Faculté de droit de Nice et participé ces dernières années à des colloques dans cette même Faculté (responsabilité pénale du fonctionnaire, Justice et presse …).
Il intervient également en tant que juré dans des examens et concours en droit pénal et procédure pénale (CFPRA, accès à l’ ENM, examen OPJ Gendarmerie nationale …).

Biography
Alain Chemama has been a magistrate since 2001; during these 20 years, he has focused primarily on investigations, including three years as a judge (expropriation and Compensation Commission for Victims of Crime). Since September 2019, he has been presiding over criminal hearings at the Nice Judicial Court. He also practiced law for 23 years at the Nice Bar (mainly in criminal cases).
In the field of education, he has taught seminars on criminal law and criminal procedure for several years at the Nice Faculty of Law and in recent years has participated in symposiums at the same faculty (criminal liability of civil servants, justice and the press, etc.).
He also serves as a juror in criminal law and criminal procedure exams and competitions (CFPRA, admission to the ENM, OPJ Gendarmerie nationale exam, etc.).
